J.S. Adame Elementary students are learning how to play “In the Jungle” on the ukulele. This lesson targets the mastery of rhythm, and melody. Students need to develop muscle memory in order to use both hands at the same time to complete different tasks on the instrument. The ukulele offers a discipline similar to the guitar but with a neck that is more accessible for smaller hands.
Their music teacher, Mr. Marcos Sanchez, takes the time to show students how to properly hold and play the ukulele.
