On October 12, the firefighters of the Donna Fire Department (Lieutenant Munoz and his crew) visited Truman Price.  Their mission:   to help the students by reinforcing the importance of fire prevention and how to stay safe in case of fires.  The firefighters demonstrated the competence of their fire engine and the power of the siren and water hoses.

Lt. Munoz donned on a firefighter suit, explained how the suit worked,   and informed the  students that they need not be afraid of them should they be called in to help.  It was an informative event for the students.

This event took place at the Truman Price Pavilion and there were two sessions in the morning (Pre-K thru 2nd)and (3rd-5th).  A huge thanks goes to Donna’s heroes:  The Donna Fire Department for bringing their expertise and information to our campus.  We are so thankful.
