Every year we like to celebrate the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month in September with a dress up day at Singleterry Elementary. The students and the teachers wear their favorite Mexican culture clothes.

The students like to present and explain the significance of their “vestuarios”. This gives the teachers the opportunity to teach about the reason we celebrate Mexican Independence Day and other holidays throughout the year.
